What is Eclectic Reiki?
Rei = UNIVERSAL
Ki = LIFE ENERGY
REIKI IS THE PRACTICE OF USING UNIVERSAL LIFE ENERGY FOR THE PURPOSE OF BALANCE AND HEALING.
'Eclectic' refers to the Usui, Tibetan and Shamanic traditions from which the teacher's practice has been developed.
How does it work?
Healing energy is gathered and focused to work on areas of imbalance in body, mind and spirit.
How is Reiki taught?
The teaching of how to connect with the healing energy of Reiki requires the use of certain symbols which are introduced to
the student during instructional sessions.
The initial connection between student and energy is established through a series of attunements performed by the teacher.
The three levels of training
Those who have had attunements and previous training may start at the next level to which they have been certified. New
students who have prior training are given a 'Level Assessment Tool' consisting of questions designed to provide the teacher
information regarding the type and amount of training the student has received thus far.
Level I
Level one trainees focus on self-healing while learning how to connect with, identify and use different frequencies of healing
energy.
Level II
Level two trainees continue self-healing efforts and begin to use Reiki for the benefit of others, as well.
Level two lessons include how to use Reiki at a distance, and how to manage large numbers of requests for long-distance
healing.
Level III
During level three training, students continue self-healing (a lifelong habit); those who are working toward their teaching
certificate also learn how to provide attunements.
Upon completion of all training-related work, the student is
certified as a Reiki Master.
Those who have chosen the additional training required for teaching are certified as:
